Cell Therapy News Announces E-newsletter for Lotus Notes and Subscriber Confirmation Process

Vancouver, BC, CANADA (September 18, 2006) - Cell Therapy News is pleased to announce the addition of an HTML version of its e-newsletter that is compatible with Lotus Notes.

“Many academic institutions and medical organizations use the Lotus Notes platform: due to the challenges of creating a newsletter that is compatible with Lotus Notes, these subscribers have generally received our e-newsletter in a plain text format. We want all our subscribers to experience Cell Therapy News in its most user-friendly format, so we have created a version that is compatible with Lotus Notes” states Tiffany Chiu, Malachite Management’s Publications Editor.

Cell Therapy News will be inviting all its subscribers to update and confirm their subscriber information later this week. Subscribers will be asked to sign into their profile, update their demographic information, and confirm their subscription.

Confirmation is another step in building an inclusive community that will promote the field of cell therapy: by confirming their subscription, subscribers are able to select their preferred email format, which now includes the Lotus Notes version, and verify that they would like to continue to receive the e-newsletter.

The confirmation process also ensures that Cell Therapy News continues to provide information about the cell therapy industry that is informative and targeted to its subscribers.

Any questions or comments about the confirmation process can be directed to info@celltherapynews.com.

Cell Therapy News Introduces New Section for Cell Therapy-related Scientific Journals

Vancouver, BC, CANADA (January 23, 2006) - Cell Therapy News, the online resource for the cell therapy community, is pleased to announce a new section in its e-newsletter.

The Profiled Journal section, which replaces the Cytotherapy section, allows peer-reviewed, cell therapy-related journals to profile their table of contents. A different journal will be profiled each week, and readers will be able to access the journals and their table of contents directly through hyperlinks.

“We continue to explore creative ways to facilitate the exchange of information between members of the cell therapy community, and are excited to offer our advertisers cost effective profiling opportunities that jointly provide the cell therapy community with reliable, convenient and timely information,” says Tiffany Chiu, Malachite Management Publications Editor. “It is critical for journals to develop and maintain an online presence in order to reach their target audience. This is especially important for journals within industries like cell therapy, because the field covers a broad range of subject areas and is geographically fragmented.”

This new section is a natural addition to the Cell Therapy News resource platform, and complements the Publications page (www.celltherapynews.com/publications) of the website, which provides descriptions and links to industry related journals.

Cell Therapy News Launches New Website Portal and e-Newsletter Redesign

Vancouver, BC, CANADA (October 3, 2005) - Cell Therapy News is pleased to announce the launch of a new website portal in combination with a redesign of its weekly digital e-newsletter.

“We are very excited about this latest development for Cell Therapy News”, says Lee Buckler, Founding Editor of Cell Therapy News. “Malachite Management is committed to the field of cellular therapy and we are pleased that Cell Therapy News has been met with such enthusiasm by the industry. The new layout, logo, and web portal represent another level of sophistication for the publication and service for our subscribers, advertisers and co-marketing partners.”

The new website portal (www.celltherapynews.com) houses the newsletter’s current issues and archives in searchable format, in addition to providing growing resource pages on cell therapy-related products, jobs, events, publications, associations, and regulatory bodies. The Cell Therapy News e-newsletter provides the field’s most recent information, from scientific research and the latest clinical data, to business news, regulatory affairs, careers, policy, publications, etc.

“Cell Therapy News has become a valuable resource in the sector,” says Dr. Robert Preti, President and CSO of Progenitor Cell Therapy, LLC. “Cellular therapies encompass a broad range of disciplines. The field’s inherent diversity can make it difficult for those in the sector to effectively network. The information service provided by Cell Therapy News promotes and facilitates the exchange of information between members of the international cell therapy industry in a way that both brings it together and profiles, to the world, the sector’s exciting developments and promise.”

“The launch of this website portal brings us closer to our goal of being the most inclusive cell therapy resource in the world, complementing the efforts of the International Society for Cellular Therapy and other leaders in the cell therapy sector” states Tiffany Chiu, Malachite Management Publications Editor. “We are in the process of developing additional resources tailored to the cell therapy industry and welcome collaborations that will enable us to meet our goals.”
